Hello! My name is Dawn, and I'm an AFAA certified Personal Fitness Trainer. I just got certified last year but my profession is my passion and purpose. I am privileged to inspire you and the rest of the world to fitness. My mother has been a personal trainer for over 28 years so I have learned so much from her growing up around that healthy lifestyle. My first job was working at the gym with her when I was 15 and it has been a passion of mine ever since then.

My certification through AFAA includes the following: Anatomy and Kinesiology, fitness assessment testing procedures (ex. 3 minute step test, sit and reach, push up and abdominal crunch, body composition screening and skin fold caliper testing), nutrition fundamentals and weight management, special populations and medical considerations, listening, leadership and motivational skills, exercise programming in the weight room, wellness programming and screening guidelines. I am also CPR and AED heart monitor certified.

I will design a work out program for you based on your needs and goals, whether it is to lose weight and get back into shape, train for an event, become more flexible and reduce back pain and stress, strengthen your core and flatten your abs, gain more strength, or just feel better and be healthy!

I have experience with special populations such as shoulder, back and knee injuries. Whatever your fitness level is I can make a work out plan for you to help you achieve your fitness goals, the best and quickest way possible!

I am currently training clients out of my home and out of their homes. My rates vary since I drive long distances to train some of my clients. I live in Ventura but do travel to T.O. ,Simi, Malibu, S.B. etc. My rates are very affordable and I also have money saving packages availible.
